John is a patent and intellectual property law attorney practicing in the areas of patent prosecution, litigation, and licensing. His practice also includes trademark and trade secret law, as well as copyright and contract litigation. Prior to joining Randick O'Dea & Tooliatos, he practiced with litigation firms in San Francisco and Oakland.
He is a registered patent attorney with a technical background in physics. His litigation experience includes trials, arbitration, and mediation. He also has experience in construction defect and real estate litigation.
John was admitted to practice in 1989 to all of the state and federal courts of California and to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also registered to appear before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a patent attorney.
